Assessment and Design Assistance
WrightWay Consulting, Inc. has been providing Home Accessibility Assessments since 1996 and was granted a state Medicaid provider number for this service in 2003. Our assessment staff has over 20 collective years of experience identifying and examining the many factors present when a home modification project is being considered as a solution to a client's independence and safety issues in their residence. Additionally, Clint Gannaway, Manager of Home Mods and Equipment Technology recently was credentialed by US Rehab and is now a Certified Environmental Accessibility Consultant. Currently, one of only twelve in the State of Florida. This credential is only given to those individuals who have presented verifiable evidence of experience in the field and also pass an examination.
WrightWay and the client, along with input from the caregiver/family and other professionals will determine the most appropriate and cost-effective adaptations for the individuals home. We feel that a successful outcome depends heavily on the cooperation and collaboration of everyone from concept to project completion.
Currently, WrightWay's fees for this service are determined by the scope of the assessment and are negotiable. Reports contain sections on Background, Findings/Conclusions and Recommendations. If indicated, we also recommend the appropriate credentials for the provider who is actually going to be completing the project. For example, a provider of Durable Medical Equipment must be licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration. Some building modifications require a General or Residential Contractors license. Our reports also include drawings of the existing structure, drawings of how the structure will appear following project completion, photos and detailed descriptions of suggested equipment.
